Keep a lasting reminder of your favourite animal with a framed cast of
its paw or hoof. These plaster casts become part of a unique picture
which can
include a photo and other
details which are important to you.The cast is 3D and raised. The deep frames are made from a light coloured solid wood, which may be stained, waxed or painted, or just left as they are.
The process is painless, for the animal at least! It simply stands in our putty to form the impression. We normally take about 3 impressions to ensure a really good cast. We then cast it and frame it.
Each picture is unique, due to the time consuming work involved and every step is undertaken by hand with great care.
Based in Lambourn, in the famous Valley of the Racehorse, we are perfectly placed to take casts from the many local racing and eventing horses. We can visit yards and stables easily in the West Berkshire area. We are only 5 minutes from M4 junction 14. Dogs and cats are welcome to come to us, or if you are local, we may be able to come to you.
The cast can be plain plaster which is terracotta/off-white, or can be painted antique gold or silver colour.
